Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club

August 28, 2003, marked an historic day for the Denver Broncos in the community as the doors to the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club were opened at 4397 Crown Blvd. in Montbello. For a minimum of ten years, the Denver Broncos will fund the operating budget of the youth center, a $2.4 million investment. Additionally, the Broncos have committed to integrating community programs and player visits to the Club's operations, truly building upon a legacy of investment that transcends a mere monetary contribution. In the clubs inaugural year, the Club's membership swelled to capacity with over 1,400 members and an average nightly attendance of over 200 kids.
Headed by Ring of Fame member Billy Thompson (a product of the Boys & Girls Club system nationally) Broncos players and alumni visit the Club to share their time and serve as role models for the kids throughout the season.
The Club's programs are offered to children ages 6-18 in the hopes of providing a safe haven for these kids to develop. Programs consist of literacy and academic support, leadership, health and safety, sports, recreation, and volunteerism, to name a few.
The Broncos have incorporated their Accelerated Reader Summer Reading Program into the clubs and created special incentives like visits from Miles, the Cheerleaders, and much more to round out the experience for the kids. The new Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center opened in late May 2008.
***Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver are Angel Ticket Program recipients. Season ticket holders may donate their game tickets to this organization. (Note: Log in as a season ticket holder to view information about this program.)***
Denver Rescue Mission

In June 2006, the Denver Broncos granted the Denver Rescue Mission $150,000 over three years for their new transitional housing facility, The Crossing. The Broncos' grant in part funded the Denver Broncos Youth Center that will serve as an educational and recreational place for children of all ages residing at the facility. The Broncos work with the Denver Rescue Mission through the Broncos Tackle Hunger Program, the annual Denver Broncos Holiday Party for residents of The Crossing and foster player involvement with The Denver Broncos Youth Center each year.
Youth Football

The Denver Broncos in partnership with the National Football League and USA Football are proud to support youth football in Colorado. In 2004, the Broncos created a Youth Football Task Force to help further the sport throughout the state. The Task Force will streamline efforts in order to overcome common obstacles facing youth football programs such as field availability, coach training, and positive expansion of participation.
